My amazing father wrote a book titled Pet lover Animal Lover
To the best of my knowledge he has never published it because of the fear of retaliation.
In my first book: "Proud to be - a New Vision for the Victorian Liberal Party" I referred to it but that's all.
But now that I live in social housing and many of my friends that I met at transitional housing (Ozanam House) have been moved to brand new amazing apartments that have seperate bedrooms, balconies but are allowed to have pets (where I live I have curfews, there are strict rules and absolutely no pets allowed which I love).
Having a pet (unless it's required for medial reasons) that are left in an apartment for hours a day) is a disgrace!
My Dad's view, which I fully agree with is simple: you can go outside and enjoy watching animals or go to one of our amazing zoos where animals (despite being in captivity) are incredibly well looked after.
Having a pet for your own personal benefit is incredibly selfish and especially if you live in an Apartment and if you live in Government Housing then how can you afford it anyway?
